he was greeting the guests at a wedding he dropped in on at his golf club, oblivious to the tragic circumstances that the people in the shelter are actually experiencing. He says they are happy and doing great.

this just takes the cake. Can someone send him to Miss Frances' Finishing School so he has an inkling of the appropriate thing to say to disaster victims? He needs a crash course.
