Istead of Ryan's proposal that very sick people go into their own healthcare pool, why not

put rich people into a pool of their own where they can pay for whatever cadillac plan they want? and the private insurance companies can fight over them. The rest of the country, the vast majority, would be in medicare for all. And rich people could buy into that if they want.

2. OK by me. Truthfully, Ryan's idea is not that bad with two big "ifs"

If Congress guarantees adequate subsidies to make "sick" people's premiums affordable for their income AND they are in the same plan(s) -- receiving same care -- as everyone else. So, in essence, they would be in a pool on paper only. I doubt that is what Ryan has in mind.

3. The right, including Ryan, have already proven that is not what they have

in mind. If Ryan's plan does give affordable healthcare to the pool of very sick people that is not Ryan's plan. It is Mark Cuban's.
