And keeping DACA isn't going to change how anyone outside of his base feels about him.

His base is the only thing keeping him President. There's no chance he is going to risk alienating them, which is when the bottom falls outside.

The only chance DACA survives is if someone on his staff who is more of an establishment Republican takes advantage of the Bannon-free WH and figures out a way to trick him into keeping.

If it's Ivanka, or may Jared, he might keep DACA.

But, if he last talks with Bannon, or Mulvaney, then the Dreamers are toast.

I don't think Trump really cares one way or the other. The issue has no effect on the wealth of him or his. He just wants to get on taxes, where he can really make a difference (to his net worth).

"I'm declaring that anyone under DACA has 2 years to either apply and become a citizen or leave, but it's not amnesty because we are going to make them meet all the requirements of any immigrant plus "extreme vetting". If you don't complete the process or you don't qualify your deported. I'm doing this becuse if someone else comes in after my 8 years they can give total amnesty so this way we use "extreme vetting" to weed out all the bad hombres that Obama let stay under DACA because he didn't vet them.l

Then his base will do what they always do and rationalize it as a win because he used words they like and his people spin it. The business community will be happy because it's really a pathway to citizenship that they support.

Mention his greatness six, or seven times?

Call it historic, or call it another step closer to making America great again?

Refer to Americans of Mexican ancestry as rapists, or drug dealers?

Blame Obama, or Hillary, or Republicans in Congress? (Doesn't matter for what, just wing that part, maybe something healthcare)

Claim DACA made Harvey worse, or Harvey because DACA?

Blame Arkema fire on DACA, or on courts throwing out his original travel ban?

Remind the public that his Nazis are good poeple whose jobs were unfairly taken by "illegals" or lie about statues of Confederate leaders are just honoring leaders who wanted secure borders for real Americans and self-armed to do it?

So many choices...we just don't understand how difficult it is to be presidently.
