as a high pressure area refuses to budge. At least nights are going to the low 60s now instead of the mid 70s. This summer was another real stinker, monsoons were very late and very short.

The Atacama is looking better and better.

Right now at 2:30 am it is 52 degrees. Great sleeping weather! Will hover around mid 60s to mid 70s for the next couple days. We are loving it! We had a real hot May/June. Haven't used my air for a couple of weeks.

that some people are denying.

Basically, more extremes. hotter highs, colder lows, more intensive rain, worse droughts, and so on are all part of it. So having unseasonably low temps nearly a month before the start of fall isn't all that surprising. Except to those who don't know anything at all about climate in the first place.
