Trump is a totally self centered bully, and he doesn't know what to say.

Further, he does not want to change. Here are two examples. Trump was interviewed and he knew the interview was being recorded, and he brags about grabbing women and touching them totally inappropriately. In an interview!!! For all to hear and see. He doesn't apologize, and goes on with life as if nothing has happened....(what impression is he giving?) It was the wrong thing to say...Obviously to all.. but him..
...Yesterday, He says, "What a crowd, What a turnout" In his mind, this was a complement to the crowd..a good thing to say and his appreciation for the turnout. He was trying to be kind.. But this was the wrong thing to say. An insult because of what the event was about. Yes, onlookers might be interested in listening and seeing a President of the United States in person. But this event is not about the crowd, it is about a horrific disaster , many injured and in horrific danger at that very moment, and death. While I believe Trump was giving a complement to the "crowd", how can he think that is the appropriate thing to say? In that situation with fear, horrific danger to many, and at that very moment he is speaking..,.. are still in danger of death.
... A bully doesn't care about others, it is who he can push around. Trump is narcissistic beyond belief. If he were willing to change, we would have seen some evidence. The tweeting continues. I believe he has been told he needs to change his behavior because of his position. Yet, we do not see that change. Or if he has tried to change, it is for such a short time, that we do not recognize any change. Then back to the old Trump.
...Yes, it is very hard to change. But, if Trump were smart, he would make every effort to change and become the very best Trump that he could be. Why? Just because of his current position in government, a leader of a great country. But I do not think he is that smart. Smart people learn from their mistakes and try to do better. I do not see happening with Mr. Trump.
...Can he still change? Not very likely to happen. WHY? I ask this, "Does he want to change? .. In the reasonable future, we will all see if he does. But again, this is very unlikely to happen..

That fact that they were trying to avoid DEATH never entered his mind.

It's always all about him, nothing else. I'm sick of him, aren't we all?

Due to his position in government, he should at least try to act better. It does not seem that he cares enough to do so.

Maybe, "I'm glad that so many of you are here. The people of south Texas are going to need everyone's help over the next months and maybe years, and I'm here to offer my help and hope that all of you will join me in helping your friends and neighbors."

They are just like him, they have been hidden from any normal people, they have no concept of what it is like to do without, or have something denied them. They become rich, pampered bullies.

I believe he was just manufacturing his own "fake news" to imply that he always draws big crowds. He's made similar remarks almost everywhere he's gone, even when the facts don't support his claims.

Everything with him is "I this" and "I that". As he says, there is no "you" in "me".
