some people on news being boated out of flooded homes were angry at their '(R)eps" who had promised over past years to help keep them from flooding.

He was pointing out the irony that this area, east Texas coastal, was where oil was discovered in Texas, and that huge sums of money have been made from resources taken out of there; and that those oil and gas resources have contributed to global warming; and global warming is now causing the very terrible consequences there; AND that resources have not been put into infrastructure to protect the people and structures there; he was getting into "politicians in Texas have a lot to answer for......" when Ali cut him off to cut to a dramatic water rescue.
