Merritt Law Firm LLC is sponsoring the list.

Lee Merritt ( @MeritLaw ), nationally known Civil Rights lawyer.

If you put what you want to buy in your shopping cart, then access Amazon through http://smile.amazon.com , Amazon will donate to a charity.

You can also use the list as a guide and just purchase items from elsewhere to donate if you have an idea of where to send them or if you are near Houston.

The other link I posted for pets went directly to the SPCA in Houston.

The way Amazon set this up, it is not easy to see where the sponsor info is. There are many of these types of lists going around.

It looks like it's going to Lee Merritt's law firm in Dallas - they are most likely obscuring the address to keep the trucks and the products safe until transport in two weeks. They have 4 trucks raring to go.

If you don't feel comfortable ordering from there you can use the list as a template or donate other ways.

Here is a great list from NPR;

I didn't think you were asking about that but I did think about that myself - where was this going to, etc. and I should have looked before I posted so that I could have included it in the original post.

10. I've checked another auction, and the Amazon prices seem to be a little off. I don't trust Amazon.

.

Here's thought, since Amazon is destroying our economy using taxpayer concessions... they should discount merch.
