If the Stericycle stock purchase occurred sometime on or around the middle of 1999 and we accept serial liar Bain Romney's assertion that he completely left the company in Feb of 1999, that still doesn't pass the smell test.

Any firm looking to invest substantially in a company does many months of due dilligence before pulling the trigger. I worked for a hedge fund. We spent many months investigating companies that we invest in. We spent months before that identifying these companies. It is simply not possible given this timeline that RMoney wasn't aware of the Stericycle investment in great detail.

He is flat out lying...and water is wet.
