Putting aside how evil Joe Arpaio is, did Donald Trump really just lament that unfair tactics

were used by law enforcement to influence the 2016 election? He said that Sheriff Joe would have won without this unjust indictment of him by local prosecutors.

Donald Trump is only in office because of unfair tactics by the FBI right before the election.

When someone is found guilty of a crime, that proves their indictment was just. I realize such a fine legal point is beyond your experience, since you're accustomed to making civil lawsuits go away by writing a check, but criminal law works a little differently.
