Oh my God, I was just watching the Weather Channel and they DID say to use a Sharpie!

gulf, Gilbert iirc, the Chambers Country sheriff went door to door and in fact was offering the use of his sharpie for those deciding yo stay.

We bailed out however the storm went inland way south of us and could have stay. Nothing but about 2ft
of storm surge on the property. House was built on pilings 12ft up so other than debris in the yard...no harm done.

Landfall is 4 hours away and cars are already underwater. It is probably to late now to leave.
