Russia gets $$$ from Trump/U.S. -- "illogical" lumber trade policies hurt Canada, help Russia
Yet again, Trump and co have hurt an ally, and our own American home builders and home buyers, in order to benefit Russia (those pee pee tapes must be scare-wee lol indeed). What still surprises me, even though I should be well beyond any sense of surprise at this point, is how BLATANTLY Trump behaves with regard to Russia -- a US president doing everything he can to make sure Poppa Poot is pleased with him (anytime Russia is mentioned he is compelled to remind us what great guys they are, how Putin is just the coolest dude ever, how Putin has never done anything wrong ever, etc)
I can only imagine what our allies must think of us. Here is yet another symptom of Trump's ridiculous ass-kissing of Putin while screwing over as usual our own best allies AND the people Trump SUPPOSEDLY cares so much about -- American home buyers and home builders, especially smaller companies that build homes (often locally owned) who can't compete in Trump's absurd little games with our allies, all for the benefit of Russia of course.
