President Donald Trump was up early Friday and apparently watching MSNBCs Morning Joe, which he insists is a bad show he never watches, and tweeting about a report he didnt like.
Co-host Willie Geist commented on recent reports that showed how John Kelly, who took over three weeks ago as White House chief of staff, had instituted new limits on the information that crosses the presidents desk but his influence only goes so far.
As if on cue, the president weighed in on the report about 10 minutes after it aired.
General John Kelly is doing a fantastic job as Chief of Staff, Trump tweeted. There is tremendous spirit and talent in the W.H. Dont believe the Fake News.
Later in the segment, Republican strategist Susan Del Percio faulted the administration for its failure to fill hundreds of jobs in the executive branch and the president seemingly responded to her criticism, as well.

(24,753 posts)They had recordings of him saying things like "you can't believe the media, they're giving false information to turn you against me." "The senators are lying to turn you against me."
All I kept thinking was "gee, that sounds like someone I've seen recently."

(3,549 posts)By tweeting what he did only shows he does watch it. He's their best advertisement for the show. What a buffoon.

(9,426 posts)since he has yet to find enough UNqualified people to join this administration. Besides, he has daughter/wife/first lady Ivanka and smart kid Jared, who else does he need?? Hopeless Hicks is being given a new position (ahem!) also.

(54,445 posts)Applies to both Trump and his presidency, and that is "unraveling."
The only bump is when one asks if there was ever anything there to unravel in the first place. They keep pointing to putting Gorsuch on the Supreme Court, but with a Republican Senate, they could have nominated Daffy Duck and gotten him confirmed just as easily (and Daffy Duck would have made better decisions, if you overlook the occasional thufferin' thuccotash).
