Hefner 'Personally Embarrassed' by Having Once Had Trump on Playboy Cover

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper Hefner explained that he and his father feel personal embarrassment for having once had President Trump on a Playboy cover. Cooper, who recently took over as chief creative officer of the famed magazine, said, “We don't respect the guy. There’s a personal embarrassment because Trump is somebody who has been on our cover.” The March 1990 cover featured Trump in a white tuxedo shirt and bow tie, standing next to a clothed playmate in a suggestive pose.

By 1990 Trump was already firmly established as a self-important, entitled asshole, but society had sort of collectively (and dubiously) agreed to act like he was a person of any value.
