Trump won the republican primaries by riling up the republican base against the republican establishment. THAT should be cause for concern in the GOP.

1. Not true. He ran as a Republican using GOP funding, organization, and structure. He (and his people)

are too incompetent to do it as an independent. What the writer means is he did it as an outsider, not as an independent. Trumpy used the GOP to run against the GOP.
