(15,242 posts)Which is it or is it a short term memory continuing a downward slide. Surely he does not believe what he says in his fits of anger standing in front of rabble that supports him.

(16,104 posts)Telling GOP leaders how to pass a clean debt ceiling with a popular bill, and saying he would shut down the government if our "Mexican" money to build it isn't attached.
That's just insane.
Democrats have known he is a pathological, brazen liar for years and years - but when will his deplorable supporters open their eyes?

(24,259 posts)Dems aren't going to hold up increasing the Debt Ceiling unless there's something like funding for a STUPID WALL or other BS attached to it that goes against their principles.

(58,724 posts)Let's see if he can correct both errors at the same time.
Edit to add: He changed "their" to "there" but still has "to"
On the third try, he got "too" right.

(5,106 posts)probably has these distinctions more currently in mind. Seems as if about 75% of adults, no matter what their education, can't keep this straight

(15,805 posts)He pays a PR staff to to write those pretty speeches to make him look normal (somber) and (respectful and strong), but he doesn't believe a word he read. The one unscripted speech that he delivered extemporaneously (enthusiastic, dynamic and fun) was all Trump, and he looked as unhinged as his crazy words sounded.

(11,212 posts)That's almost as alarming as the peculiar thoughts he puts out. He has not learned, or refuses to learn, to avoid those laughable errors which overshadow the content. Serious lapse in judgment. Unfit for position!!
