I think Trump is inciting his followers to harm the media.

To intimidate the people who exercised freedom of the press. I fear for the reporters cameraman and production folks reporting from the scene for CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and even Fox News.

It's called "inciting to Riot", which is a crime.
A Penal Law passed due to the fact there was much fighting in the streets, "A person is guilty of inciting to riot when one urges ten or more persons to engage in tumultuous and violent conduct of a kind likely to create public alarm."

He deliberately points out media people who are present and calls them the problem.

Like Sarah Palin with her target map, he is clearly hoping for a response that he can then weakly disavow.

'The more you tighten your grip, the more Star Systems will slip through your fingers.'

If he pisses them off (and I mean really) they have the power and the voice in the Public Square to completely destroy him. That he doesn't seem to know that, should be proof enough that he's unqualified for his job at best, and a complete and utter simpleton any other way.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturmabteilung

The Sturmabteilung (SA; German pronunciation: [ˈʃtʊɐ̯mʔapˌtaɪlʊŋ] (About this sound listen)), literally Storm Detachment, functioned as the original paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party (NSDAP).

It played a significant role in Adolf Hitler's rise to power in the 1920s and 1930s. Their primary purposes were providing protection for Nazi rallies and assemblies, disrupting the meetings of opposing parties, fighting against the paramilitary units of the opposing parties, especially the Red Front Fighters League (Rotfrontkämpferbund) of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD), and intimidating Slavic and Romani citizens, unionists, and Jews – for instance, during the Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses.

The SA have been known in contemporary times as "Brownshirts" (Braunhemden) from the color of their uniform shirts, similar to Benito Mussolini's blackshirts. The SA developed pseudo-military titles for its members. The SA ranks were adopted by several other Nazi Party groups, chief amongst them the Schutzstaffel (SS), which originated as a branch of the SA before being separated. Brown-coloured shirts were chosen as the SA uniform because a large number of them were cheaply available after World War I, having originally been ordered during the war for colonial troops posted to Germany's former African colonies.[1]

The SA became disempowered after Adolf Hitler ordered the "blood purge" of 1934. This event became known as the Night of the Long Knives (die Nacht der langen Messer). The SA was effectively superseded by the SS, although it was not formally dissolved until after the Third Reich's final capitulation to the Allied powers in 1945.

He is "the escalator" of violence and hate. Bannon wanted to destroy our government and country as we know it. That's why they are best pals and why Miller and Gorka are still there. His goal is to create chaos in the country as he has done in the past with his business employees and in the Oval Office with his staff. He wants to get his base pissed off so that when he eventually goes down he will bring the country down with him. He will watch and revel in it.

He is maniacal and must be stopped now! RESIST!

The media has no obligation to cover his 2020 campaign activities. They just love being there, much like they did in '16. They are the reason we are where we are now. I don't feel sorry for them. If Trump's rabid supporters turn on them at one of these cartoonish rallies, maybe they'll get the hint and stop carrying this crap on live tv.

I suggest that for anyone who's against the media boycotting, they should attend the rally to see for themselves.

I fully understand the need to cover the orange buffoon in a press briefing, or when he travels abroad, but following him from town to town while he's campaigning for the next election is not newsworthy AFAIC, just as it wasn't in 2016. Don't be fooled, the media loves covering Trump, even if it's for cynical reasons.

I see what I do of him on news reports. My gut feeling the last few weeks? He's amassing his army. These lunatics WILL take up arms for him and kill reporters, opposition politicians, etc...just like his hero Putin. The republicans better get their shit in order fast, because they'll be the first ones in his sights. He's got to go. I'd prefer to see him frog-marched out of the Oval Office in handcuffs, but I'll settle for anything that gets him the fuck out of there.
