I've seen this tale a couple of times on Twitter trying to tie it to FOX's Antifa hysteria. Snopes has nothing. Google takes to a Breitbart yarn about an ISIS assassin using one. Perhaps may need to be debunked.

(31,261 posts)Some Black guy was about to be attacked by a group of white supremacists. The Black guy saw an aerosol can on the ground, picked it up and used a lighter to create a makeshift flamethrower that drove the Nazis back and allowed the Black guy to get away.

(544 posts)They are classified as agricultural implements. Surprisingly, very few states have laws against building or owning flamethrowers (even military models).
not that this has anything to do with igniting an aerosol can at a rally... but neat to know .
