(18,837 posts)...I turned it on, coincidentally, at the beginning of his Arpaio remarks, and turned it off about two minutes after that.
But all I am seeing is a lot of tight shots of the podium, not a lot of panning the audience or the hall itself.

(5,810 posts)Big, brave guy, isn't he? Nope, he will soak up all the love inside and then slither away out a back door to his waiting jet and scoot on back to DC. He is a coward to his core. A sniveling coward.

(5,018 posts)about so many of the current and recent Republican leadership, those sociopathic entitled "I'm so much better than you, I've totally pulled one over on you, and boy am I gonna milk this you stupid losers" smirks are the worst. And I think the base loves them. GWB has it, Trump has it, Obama doesn't. While not a cause, I sometimes think the lack of that true smirk in Romney (more a well trained Hollywood smile - fake as shit and completely lacking in affect but not a smirk) and McCain (too damaged by surgery plus I think he genuinely started as a public servant but his idiology sucked from the start and he was easily corrupted) didn't help them with the base. The stupid part is the base sees that smirk and thinks "he's sticking it to those libruls" when it's really the suckers who voted for him who he's sticking it too even more.
Of course, they see Obama's clearly genuine smile as a smirk because anything depicting Obama positively and/or happy is him rubbing it in their faces.

But they DON'T.
What Presidential speech does not have multi-camera coverage?
Apparently one that doesn't feel the need to show the crowd.

(19,201 posts)in that MASSIVE crowd were PAID supporters? A low estimate.........I'd say 10%? Especially the Black man positioned behind Trump with the "Trump is not a racist" tee-shit on. Yeah.....right!
Do you think Donnie Dumb-Shit realizes that his core supporters are dwindling? Of course not. In Trump's mind the place was filled to overflowing. I guess we should never underestimate how delusional Trump is when it comes to his ego. We all saw how he inflated his inaugural address attendance. "The most people EVER for an inaugural address". What a putz.
