(14,492 posts)A part of that comes from corporate executive worship created by the 90s stock market run and endless CEO interviews on CNBC, Fox business, WSJ, etc., and America buying into the stock market and IRAs. Americans (especially Repugs) seen to have an endless hunger for heroes, father figures, symbols of wealth and celebrities.
