Rimjob: Rove, Romney and the GOP-e set out to destroy the tea party, and they are succeeding

"As I see staunch pro-life conservatives and tea party patriots folding their small government tents in favor of Romney's GOP-e progressive, big government big tent, I can't help but see not only the end of the tea party, but the end of pro-life, pro-liberty conservatism within the Republican party. And if we cannot quickly recover, the end of liberty in America. America's great experiment in self-government by believers in life and liberty destroyed, not by the liberal progressive statists of the Democrat party, but by the liberal progressive statists of the Republican party. Where the statist Democrats have failed, the statist GOP-e will have succeeded.

There is absolutely no doubt that Romney's pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-socialist healthcare, statist big government record is identical to Obama's. Once upon a time in the not so distant past, conservatives automatically shunned big government statists. The GOP-e and the malignant genius, Karl Rove, figured out how to outflank us and turn the GOP totally against Reagan conservatism and against pro-Life, pro-family, pro-small government conservatives. It's an engineered coup d'etat against traditional small government conservatism and it is deadly."

So he needs a "what this website stands for is under attack from all sides!" thread to rally the donors.

I'll give him this - he writes far better than most of the members there (apart from the use of double exclamation marks). That's how he's kept the donations going for 15 years or whatever, I guess.

“Well, one of them WILL be president for the next four years, the only question is which one.”

What if the Tea Party descends on the convention in great numbers, and—despite their respect for the police—simply refuses to be kept out?

What if the Tea Party barges in and simply insists on someone other than Romney, even if that means forcibly ejecting most of the official delegates?

What if the Tea Party actually sacks up and does something effective? What if conservatives insist upon being taken seriously by the only means there are—putting their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor on the line?

Are you ready to get your head busted, get thrown in jail, perhaps even give your life to change the course of history at this moment? You know, sort of like the men who conducted the original Boston Tea Party.

In my view, nothing less will do."

Those guys are just a joke - they were pro-choice before they were pro-life, until they had to pander to the evangelicals in a stupid bargain for votes. Then they imagine they are "for liberty", but most of their policies lead the majority closer to servitude. They pretend they are for smaller government, but they have never been able to resist blowing out the budget with wars-for-profit and pork barrel spending...hypocrites.

Santorum had some support but his peak seemed to be a bit below that of the others. (I could be wrong, as I was looking in only sporadically.)

If Palin had run, most of them would have enthusiastically backed her.

with the big money GOP interests, didn't it Rimjob? Now you're surprised that everything is not going your way. Just WTF did you THINK was gonna happen?

Not one teabagger protest on Wall Street when they originally started out pissed off about TARP. Why not? Because the Koch brothers, Dick Armey and the rest of the usual suspects didn't order the baggers to do so.

When the tea party first started out I had some respect and hope for it. Your bunch of morans were all for turning it into hate Obama, and God and guns. Now you ended up with Robme. After the election you get one big steaming shit facial!
