1. Good point. Today they weren't able to give any kind of speech,

they were drowned out by protesters so they gave up and left. I guess they gave a "silent" speech instead. That is effective.

3. This is the price of free speech

It is only conditional under narrow circumstances. I wish we would have seen it used a little more in criticism of Trump. Hearing what they say is what gives us a solid basis to presume what they think.
