"Just before the Senate steeled itself to vote on the repealing the health law, the Job Creators Network announced a partnership with Newt Gingrich to turn Congress's attention toward tax cuts, where success would be good for business and good for Republicans, who desperately need some sort of legislative accomplishment. By that point, a videographer had already showed up at Rainbow Station. "Taxes are a pretty big burden on a small business like mine," Sims says in the 30-second spot that resulted. "Even just the accountant costs me thousand of dollars just to do the taxes, and that's after I've already spent hours and hours gathering information and preparing things." As the camera cuts in and out of scenes of small children and thoughtful teachers, he continues, "having a lower tax rate and less complex taxes would help us out a lot in our ability to generate jobs and to serve the families that we serve."
But at the same time, the Network was also making a last-ditch effort to push Obamacare repeal through Congress. While he was there, the videographer asked Sims a couple questions about health care, and a cut a commercial attacking the Affordable Care Act as well. A couple days later, a friend of Sims spotted him during a commercial break on Fox.

Interesting read about yet another slickly named billionaire funded right wing lobby group. Bernard Marcus, Hillary hater, 45 supporter and co- founder of Home Depot, is a major source of funds. It is hard to keep track of all of the right wing money being vomited into the political system.
When money is the driver of free speech, the average person can't afford that "free speech". All we can do, until the law is changed, is flush out the dark money lords so we know who is behind these benign named fronts.

Yes, large companies can claim a Small Business charter if they are owned by less than 100 people.
This is why many large firms are partnerships or keep a very small set of owners. XE makes over $30 Billion a year, KPMG has 15K employees in dozens of countries, Koch Industries... they are all Small Businesses.
When the Dems try and put in controls on these large firms, the Republicans frame it as an attack on small business, when in reality, the things being throttles would only affect the billion-dollar firms, not the local ACE hardware store down the street.
This is why there is Big Money backing Small Business... Because Big Business is gaming the system!
