...it is despicable and criminal ...trumpf gave the ok to rough them up more as if racist police need more encouragement to kick and beat and yes and even kill... yet, I''ve heard leaders l, say that NO don't heed what that guy said[this guy is president people!] ...EVERY PERSON HAS RIGHTS yet those racist police heard rough them up more...
....when they encounter a young black man ... the racist in them suddenly comes out, they fear the black man who seemed to be doing all the right things in the video I just viewed..and as you know, WE have to be doing the right thing ....I've had the talk my son , please don't provoke ..just don't engage, just give them the information and move on ..don't look in the whiteman in the eyes because that'll show you are equal to him [you are, we are equal]...sure not all police are bad but the ones that pull over black people beat and or murder them seem to be. What are they hunting, waiting , preying on their next victim? People..listen up... black and brown communities are being terrorized and murdered.
Thank god that we live in an age of technology that can catch them in the act, yet that is still not enough ...because we are always suspected of something criminal just because of the color of our skin... we can go back to Rodney King that was caught on tape ...the police were aquitted riots ensued protesting the assault on our bodies ...and today nothing has changed...sure everyone is saying the right thing [except the racist guy in the WH] so why hasn't it gotten better ...oh they''ll have an excuse ..he was doing this or that ...have you noticed the rules of engagement only pertain to people of color always seem to change leaving uncertainty so as to excuse their violent attack on our bodies.
I'm so sorry for that young man and the woman who was with him...I'm so sorry for the pain ...when I saw that young man being beaten that could be my son ....and I wept again for another beautiful black person who didn't deserve any of that.
...after I read about this incident and after I heard about that police officer was shot and killed, and yes I wept for that man too.. Yet prayed .please don't let it be a person of color that shot him ..please god, because our children are out there and they will be blamed., will be suspect our entire community once again will be blamed. criminalized...when the nine people at a church were murdered by a white terrorist was the entire white community suspect, criminalized NO! ..this killer was cuddled taken or given burger and fries after slaughtering 9 people, given a bullet proof vest. how nice for him ....when our people are shot dead for a missing brake light, not signalling, buying skittles. or for minor offenses that young white men commit everyday and are ignored by police, the justice system -- it's just growing pains they say .... but our young men, their fathers, brothers grandfather's it's criminal by just being a person of color --we are suspect--and are deemed criminal? And, beautiful Sandra Bland my heart aches for her loss, stopped for not signalling, no bail no fine ..jailed then found dead while under police protection?
We are out thereeveryday going to work to school to play to a movie, out to dinner, activities with our children and I worry if my sons will be stopped beaten or killed by a police officer who is racist while driving a car or walking and for god sake don't jog. never run. even if it's for exercise...pulled over, or stopped for any infraction real or not, stereotyped just because of the color of our skin..
..while writing this I'm unaware of details of police shooting. and yes my prayers go out to police officer shot and killed and equally to our children who are murdered or beaten -- terrorized on our the streets everyday somewhere in our country ...question? how do we protect ourselves from this assault on our communities when we can't depend on the very people where it's their job to protect us. Michele Obama said clearly the (racist white, my words) people just couldn't see past the color of her skin ...
...and even after being practically beaten to death..and police acquitted for his beating and out of righteous rage (something white people don't get) from the community ensued them to riot against the assault on our bodies ...after all that happen to Rodney King...he said, why can't we just all get along.....this constant assault, pain inflicted on our black and brown bodies cannot remain as such...
...racism is institutionalized in all walks of life in every place that we live and work and play yes it's has gotten better, well compared to slavery, genocide of black and native people ...but how do we justify mass incarceration of our young black and brown men arrested beaten for minor offenses that can be resolved through the bail process, fines, community service. health services for drug addition if needed, education, job training and job placement instead they are arrested or and left lying dead in the middle of the street...then if not killed then sent to prison where their lives are destroyed ...mass incarceration is SLAVERY.
....Now, today we have private prisons who rely on beds being filled ..so they prey on our communities? It seems that we are just sitting ducks...and folks we know that under the racist guy who now occupies the white house along wth racist attorney general it's going to get worse before it gets better. ..
...I can't say RESIST ..nice white people who have always been against hate can say that..if we say it we are criminalized we are seen as militants...punished beaten.and incarcerated for protesting against assault against us. ...It's time to have the talk again with my sons..don't engage don't look them in the eye or else they'll know that we are equal to them ..follow orders don't move your hands from steering wheel don't don't take your hands off steering wheel. Keep your hands where I can see them, they say...while they point a gun at your head, then when they ask you to reach over and open glove compartment you comply ...that is where they'll say you reached or your reaching for my registration? Wallet? Weapon? Yup that's it ! Yes because we all drive around wth guns, no we don't! In the killing of Castille he had a permit ...
...and even if we comply, follow rules on how black people and brown people are suppose to act when they are stopped by a police while driving or walking or shopping or sitting at a park bench, and are suspect of ??? Stopped just because of the color of our skin ...and if we are lucky when it shouldn't be about luck at all maybe we will come home safe and sound.
