Here's a typical misleading news blurb:

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama is prodding Congress to "skip the unnecessary drama" and pass his proposal to extend Bush-era tax cuts to families earning less than $250,000 a year but not for those who earn more.

In fact the tax cut would be for EVERYONE earning up to the first $250K...even Mitt.

Everyone gets a tax break on their first $250,000 of income. The 99% know that they are not being affected if you give them that number. And they won't worry about those who make more. (Unless they are insane Freepers who worship the one percenters.)

human interest garbage items right after any item pertaining to and including any story about Obama or Dems. Enough of the cats, dogs and whining kids. Were is the news. And they wonder why their eye-ball numbers are in the crapper.

for multi-million wages, it's hardly worth mentioning, imo. however, they could re-frame by saying the cut is on everyone's first $250,000 of income.

how many of the 1% actually earn wages? most 'earn' through investments and already pay a lower rate than everyone else.
