by Romney's refusal to release his tax returns from 1999 to present:
The man has something(s) to hide...about his "tenure" at Bain...about his foreign investments...about the % he paid in taxes...about deductions he took...about what he paid his household employees...about his magical IRA....
His father released years of his tax returns, other presidential candidates have done the same. John McCain knows what's in them...why shouldn't we?
This is so simple, it's silly. People are just not going to vote for a human hairball.

(2,307 posts)Was Romney ever a real contender for VP? Did his info simply sit on a desk? Was he "vetted" just to say he was vetted?
I don't mean to defend McCain, but I know every application and resume doesn't get reviewed. If he does know something he may be putting his own job and reputation at sake. He may be saying to himself "I wish we actually looked at all that crap". I mean would you actually consider Romney for VP?
