You think people should 'pull themselves up by their bootstraps' alone?

Then why are the people you cite living better than you?

I know, yours was a rhetorical question designed to instigate trouble. But you're too transparent.

All social safety nets will have leaks.

As a wise, man-of-the-world you no doubt imagine yourself to be, why would you not know that?

The fraction of a percentage of Americans who receive food stamps (mostly single women with children) are contrasted against the small fraction of wealthy individuals who now receive the bulk of tax benefits and reductions and are primed to receive even more of a share of your tax dollars if Willard is elected. Most aren't asking for the money and most of them don't need it; yet, your political icon is bent on keeping that spigot open at YOUR expense. Inspiring, war on toilet paper.

simply because he might do it with OUR money -- and we wouldn't even know it.

By the way, you don't have to be dead broke to apply for food stamps.

Rated the best of the frozen pizzas. I usually doctor mine up with a little extra mozzarella after it's been in for a few minutes and it comes out delicious.

If wages had the same relationship to productivity as they did in the 50s & 60s, and the tax code resembled what it was in those years, you would have made 60k last year and paid a smaller percentage to the IRS. Rich people pushed for the policies that dragged your potential pay down and increased your tax burden. Just so ya know...

Any employer worth his/her salt would look at your piss poor spelling, grammar and absolute lack of logic and laugh in your face. Those rich people don't want to buy your stuff, they want to mock you for being such an incredibly useful idiot. I shudder to think that this is what a GED gets you these days.
