Maduro is a dictator and this gives him more ammunition to bring trumped up charges.

incarcerating anyone who opposes his coup d'etat. No one took his "it's the CIA/Colombians/Oil Men" bogeyman seriously* but now the entire world hears how Trump threatened him. Maduro must be thanking all his saints, including St. Hugo and the little bird.

*with the exception of a few misguided souls who still post those fantasies here on DU from time to time
