Charlottesville white supremacist marcher gets ID’d on Twitter and loses job at hot dog restaurant

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/08/charlottesville-white-supremacist-marcher-gets-idd-on-twitter-and-loses-job-at-hot-dog-restaurant/

Another “alt-right” white supremacist marcher photographed in Charlottesville, VA over the weekend has learned why his 19th and 20th century forebears wore hoods to their rallies.

According to the East Bay Times, Cole White of Berkeley, CA has lost his job at Top Dog — a chain of hot dog restaurants.

“Effective Saturday 12th August, Cole White no longer works at Top Dog,” said an email statement from the restaurant chain. “The actions of those in Charlottesville are not supported by Top Dog. We believe in individual freedom and voluntary association for everyone.”

On Saturday, Twitter user @YesYoureRacist began to circulate photos of the tiki-torch-carrying mob of white supremacist who marched on Friday night, as well as photos from the “Unite the Right” march, which quickly devolved into a violent melee in which a 20-year-old white supremacist rammed his car into a crowd of anti-fascist marchers, killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer and injuring at least 19 others.

Got what he deserves. I looked this place up on yelp and it looks pretty good , if you like hot dogs.

I kinda wonder about it now though - one of the pictures on yelp showed a board that said politicians not welcome - which makes me think they might be sympethetic to extremists and imagine they are trolling.

Still it's worth finding out who paid for these idiots to go cause mayhem, because essentially none of these losers are going to be worth suing and the victims need their medical expenses, lost wages, etc paid.

And how full of hate do you have to be that you'd waste your money traveling across the country for this???

Does he live in a tent? The rents in Berkeley are astonishing.

Does he live with mom and dad?

Hey mom, can I use your credit card to buy some airline tickets?

That place is...weird. Plus it's not the first time the piece of shit was involved in white supremacy violence. Hard to imagine they were surprised by his involvement in Charlottesville. My guess is they've been inundated by so many calls, they gotta look at their bottom line.

Top Dog’s management has never shied away from promoting its own political views, plastering Libertarian messages over the walls of its two Berkeley locations. (There is a third location in Oakland.) The chain, owned by Richard Rienmann, also posts essays from the Libertarian Ludwig von Mises Institute on a section of its website called “Propergander.” A recent essay posted on the site criticized Google for “appeasing modern Social Justice Warriors” at the expense of profit when it fired an employee who distributed a manifesto against Google’s pro-diversity efforts.

Some scholars affiliated with the Ludwig von Mises Institute are pro-Confederacy, according to the New York Times.

The company put up a blog post on Sunday about its views on what happened in Charlottesville.

I can't imagine a guy who works that kind of job gets any! I have to jump through several hurdles if I want even a few hours off. If I told my employer I was going to the University of Virginia tomorrow they'd definitely want to know why I was going!
