(685 posts)it is cheap/less expensive. Should they raise their prices then going to Walmart to get cheap items will end and people will go somewhere else. Not a bad thing. It may be an opportunity for others

(99,711 posts)I was at a Wal-Mart and this woman in clearly worn clothes was shopping. She bought some cold cuts and women's underwear. She tried to pay with three or so cards that didn't work. She eventually paid with cash. The blll was less than twenty dollars. I am far, far, far... far from rich but I was going to offer to pay. I didn't want to create a scene or embarrass her.

(685 posts)like I said it may create an opportunity for someone else to bring in low priced items. I go to goodwill for clothes. As for the $20 you saved I would have found a reason not to embarrass anyone and paid the bill, but that is just me. We survived well without Walmart at one time and we can do it again

(9,287 posts)Were going to war in the South China Sea in five to 10 years, arent we? Mr Bannon said on his radio show in March 2016. Theres no doubt about that. Theyre taking their sandbars and making basically stationary aircraft carriers and putting missiles on those. They come here to the United States in front of our face and you understand how important face is and say its an ancient territorial sea.
