"Neo-nazism-lite" = Neo-nazism without the obvious anti-semitism
Every time I see the phrase "alt-right" in the media, I think of neo-nazism immediately. They just don't get into the anti-semitism because they know they would get shut down instantly if they did that. Am I the only one ?

(16,093 posts)They don't get into the anti-semitism, publicly! Behind closed doors, you can be sure they're reading the Protocols of the Elders of Zion!
The alt-right are nothing more then neo-nazis, who are cowards!!!

(470 posts)Don't forget, there are acceptable and unacceptable Jews. Steven Miller, for example, former principal aide to Jeff Sessions and now in more dire need of a blowjob than any white man in history, would probably in the current political climate be acceptable.

(37,457 posts)that the original Nazis (1933-1945) are almost all dead now, so the current generation has to be called "neo". Am I incorrect in my understanding ? I'm definitely not an expert on this.

(37,457 posts)Even more reason for the media to just label them neo-nazis instead of the polite term "alt right"

(841 posts)Some of them might be neo-nazis but others seem to just fit the "angry white man" classification. I like to think of the alt-right as talk radio for the younger generation. Much of what they say is not really new. They say many of the same things you would hear on talk radio only they are online and that gives them more freedom to be vulgar. Vulgar comedy is a big part of online right-wing culture.
