TRENTON -- Gov. Chris Christie says President Donald Trump is welcome anytime at the state-owned beach house Christie made infamous during this summer's state government shutdown ...

"Look, the president is welcome at the gubernatorial beach house anytime he wants," Christie said. "We would welcome him with open arms for him to come and take some time at the Jersey Shore."

Photos of Christie lounging with family on the empty beach in front of the state-owned house at Island Beach State Park made national news in July after Christie ordered state government shutdown amid an impasse over the budget.
