General Discussion

I saw this discussion on TV early this morning. Krystal Ball (ex-MSNBCer) was on one of the panels and she thought Democrats needed to talk about jobs and better wages, etc.
It's very difficult to ignore the elephant in the room. It's knocking stuff over and crapping in the floor every day, all day long, it seems? It's a threat to destroy our entire home. But, we need to talk about something else if we want to win the next election?
What say ye?

Democrats are too polite about what Trump did!

The propaganda will start sticking without some indictments, etc

I thought the issue was 'should the Democrats stop talking so much about Russia?'

(6,044 posts)Russian interference is not over. It needs to be addressed or we will again be unprepared.
Aside from Russia, we are losing votes to a coordinated campaign of voter suppression. If we don't address it we will lose.
As far as jobs and wages go, the main issue is automation. If Democrats do not talk about automation, they will lose. Krystal Ball does talk about automation.
Ball should address and stop worrying about other people addressing other vital issues.

Jesus. I can't even believe how lightly people are taking the greatest threat to our country since it's inception.

(25,253 posts)they need to be held responsible. We'll be running against the Repugs in 2018 & most probably in 2020. We need to turn our attention to them as we'll not be running against Trump. Trump will implode on his own and Mueller will do him in. What scares me now as we are getting close to 2018 - the Repugs are talking bipartisanship - at least on healthcare. Don't trust them it's a trap. So the Dems can't badmouth them.
