In response to a discussion about the working poor he said:
"I would suggest if you are working and unable to provide for oneself, to look at expenses and/or perhaps move if expenses are too high where you live."
These people cannot move beyond ideology and make an appeal to moderation.

(39,313 posts)that they think they would be fine if it happened to them, that their wealth proves they are good problem solvers.. but until they really have to deal with it this sense will remain, why can't you do what I did? If you can't then scale down, it's "practical". It's not only conservatives who state these things. It's also people with money.

(8,492 posts)Last nite I had a RWer tell me that ACA was socialized medicine and that he's sick of people getting free shit. This, I kid you not...came from the mouth of a 30 year old with three kids from 2 moms all of whom are on welfare.
The town in which I live is DEEP red. The only folks I know on assistance (quite a few) are Republicans, and yet, they will still argue to the death about "hand-outs". It's okay if you're a broke white guy and vote Republican.

A house, a car, a dog, and a wife and kids.
You just have to buy a cheaper house, a cheaper car, get a free puppy from in front of the market and then date someone who is as dumb as their wife was.
