Can we just take a moment and acknowledge how BOLD the Dems are being this week?
Uncharacteristic, I know. But seeing Obama, Biden, Harry Reid and others digging in their heels and refusing to back off this issue has been a real delight as of late.
What also gives me a lot of hope is that Obama and Reid (Biden not so much) are known for being pragmatists who usually err on the side of caution and don't usually go shooting off their mouths. At times, we've given them hell for being too quick to concede to the opposition, and they probably deserved it then, but--their assertiveness right now makes me think they know something that could doom Romney's chances well before November.
I'll take this all back the second they show any mercy towards Romney and/or apologize for being so impertinent, but for now--fight, Dems, fight!

Reid really surprised me this week with the "couldn't be confirmed as dogcatcher" remarks. A bit out of character - and I'd like to see this version more often.
