WTF? Brietbart.com "reporting" that Biden's speech was "to empty seats"

Um....I watched it and seemed like a good and very appreciative audience! Alternate Breitbart reality now all over wingnut universe.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/07/12/biden-empty-house

Don't for a minute believe this photo was of Biden's speech:

We should have a DU Debunking Squad for this kind of bull -- I know there must be real photos out there to combat this kind of thing. But the sheer volume of daily RW lies is too hard for one person to keep up with.

Take a photo with a camera phone before they let anyone in. Then claim it was in the middle of his speech and no one showed up. Remember when they took a photo of him before the national anthem when Obama was the only one that didn't have his hand across his heart and they spent weeks saying "he REFUSED to put his hand on his heart"? Found out that's why my 80 y.o. mother doesn't like him.

Aren't those two ladies (first row, third and fourth from the left) the same ones who were bored to tears in the pic from Robme's speech the other day?

They both had a look on their face that said, "this is some bullshit."

Just an observation.

"Minutes before" (about 30 to 45) my wedding all the seats were empty.

"Minutes before" the last Rose Bowl game (about 60) there was almost nobody in the seats.

I went to a Laker game last season, "minutes before" (about 30) the Staples Center was almost empty.

CBS News and National Journal campaign reporter Rodney Hawkins tweeted that “minutes before” Joe Biden’s speech at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston “seats are pretty empty.” He provided the visual above.

I suppose those "token negroes" Rmoney flew in for Rmoney's NAACP speech were no longer at the convention when Biden made his speech, hence the "empty seats."

Another day for "accurate" "truthful" right-wing "journalism."

They did the same about Obama's speech at OSU:

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/05/05/obama-empty-arena

Politico pointed out that OSU was actually filled with thousands of supporters...the report quotes one source saying that about 4,300 of the total 18,300 seats were empty.

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0512/76017.html

The mistake the Obama team made, apparently, was overhyping how they believed the venue was going to be packed to capacity with supporters.

....this isn't for the general populace, but for the base. Get the base thinking that even Dem's have lost interest in re-electing Obama so that come election day, "the low republican voter turn out" is due to too many republicans thinking they didn't have to vote. Not because the population is moving left, prefers Obama to Romney, etc.

Nevertheless, the Breitbrats found a photo that was tweeted prior to Biden’s arrival and decided to post that with an article that said that “Biden Addresses Empty Seats at NAACP Convention.” Obviously, that was not true. The larger photo of an enthusiastic crowd was taken by an actual reporter from Reuters. Not surprisingly, the mysterious editors at Fox Nation (who Fox refuses to identify) re-posted the Breibrat item as if it were certifiable news.

In addition to the false assertion of an empty hall, the Breitbrats sought to portray their fabricated story as a “misstep for a presidential campaign unable to find its footing.”

“The low turnout could be due to weather, as Hawkins suggests, or perhaps it could have been in protest because the NAACP was snubbed by Obama. Or, maybe people didn’t feel it imperative to hear America’s Grandpa ramble on about how much he learned in a Reverend Wright’s church.”

Of course, neither the weather, nor an alleged snubbing, prevented the conferees from attending in force. But what’s worse is the reference to Rev. Wright. That bit was cribbed from Michelle Malkin. As it turns out, Biden was not referring to Jeremiah Wright at all. It never occurred to these goofballs that there might be more than one Rev. Wright in America.

In other words, before most of the crowds came in and filled the seats.

The big screen on the right of the stage gives it away - looks like it had a Windows desktop with something or other, while the pictures that actually had Biden making his speech showed the screen displaying a camera-view of Biden.
