"One-hundred percent of the U.S. pistachio crop is grown in the West, including California (98.5 percent of the crop), Arizona, and New Mexico. There are about 850 pistachio growers in the tri-state area.

California growers have about 250,000 acres of pistachios in 22 counties."

Thanks for the link.

California has been in a severe drought for several years, and farmers used a huge amount of the available water supply for cash-rich crops like pistachios. I can understand the farmers doing what is economically in their best interests, but the rest of the state had to go through mandatory water rationing. Even with the rainfall and snow pack this year, we are not out of the woods yet.

Nix that. We don't need a literal bloodbath.

Spent the day with a "carrying" Trump family (whom I love, go figure) and they are bailing due to his idiocy and bad decisions. I did not ask them to elaborate, knowing how hard it was to say even that to me, their liberal friend, whom they love despite politics. I didn't even bring it up, which is amazing to all who know me.

I just said I felt sorry that they were so disappointed, but I understood. And left it there. But oh, how I wanted to go on and on. Baby steps. They know how I feel and I know how hard it was to say what they did.

They will never be Dems, but they are through with Trump. No more money from them.

Predict they will go Kasich or Sasse big time.

But the Orange Blob lost some bigly supporters in the last few days.

President Trump's group is in chaos and cannot get along how can we expect them to tackle the democrats in a head to head battle.

What a joke they are eating their own. Just waiting for the next wall to fall from twitter.

I voted for Trump and was with him from the beginning for one simple reason-- He was ***N-O-T*** a DC insider.

The problem is, and continues to be, -- President Trump has done absolutely Z-E-R-O to eliminate "The Swamp" as he promised many, many times on the campaign trail.

NOTHING -- and every day he loses power. Why? He is starting to remind me of the "Maverick" John McCain. Trump does nothing but tweet - a la Trey Gowdy.

All I want is to see *something* that remotely resembles "Draining the Swamp"...

“And the Grand Jury will (coincidentally) all be comprised of Clinton donors.”

Thus making it identical to the composition of the White House personnel, beginning with the Oval Office. If Trump had at least the self control of a ten-year-old, this would have never come to pass. But he cannot keep his mouth shut nor his eye on the ball, hence the quagmire that will hound his every day in office. Being President is not like being a New York real estate grifter. I wish sincerely that he was a better man, and a better President.

We desperately need a reduction in human population. Of course it should be spread around equally, but.....I would definitely prefer to see fewer stupid, rigid, phony, gullible, mean, greedy, vindictive, psychopathic schemers and rigid ideologues.

after being promised it would be taken away during repeal and replace.

Now if they work themselves into a hissy fit lather, and I hope they do, and end up having a paralyzing stroke, and I hope they do, then they will have health care to save their lives and take care of them.... Sad.

Last year I was against dRump for his mouth. As time went on I read more about his business models and his business operations in general. Always keeping in mind his bankruptcies and surrounding narrative. THEN, word came of russian hacking.

NOW, I've watched him play kiss ass with the paRusskies. He did/does not get along with our allies. Why? Several months ago I noted a thread re the turtle and a PAC affiliated with him that had accepted $2.5 million from a paRussky lobbiest.

NOW, it is becoming apparent the McConnell AND Ryan campaigns accepted money from lobbiest WITH paRussky ties. THEY have use hacked data/information to use in their campaign's and the overall RNC campaigns for the Presidency, Senate, and House.

May they lose significantly.

I would really like to use some other language, but let me reserve that language for having a drink remembering the REAL gentleman/heroes, who are not longer with us. Those who gave all.

Do you think there will be angry tRumpers going after suspected liberals, erstwhile tRumpers going after rethugs (congress people or tRump himself), or maybe erstwhile tRumpers going after still committed tRumpers?
