The hatred runs deep and so does the paranoia.

Facebook friend shared US Open Borders's photo with a bunch of paranoid crap about some secret plan by the President to use amnesty and welfare to entice Hispanic voters. This is our exchange.

ME: This is without a doubt one of the stupidest, most paranoid things I've seen to date from any group during this silly season.

HER: Actually i dont think its stupid at all.. I think its a bad example of a very real problem.. and if this is what it takes to get someone attention then ok ill repost it .. because what it happening down in arizona texas and california is Wrong! Bad taste maybe ,, but closing the border patrol stations just means we turned the southern half of all those southern states into northern mexico

ME: Does anyone remember Bush and Vincente Fox meeting in 2000 and allowing an "open borders" policy for a number of years until Fox was voted out? Does anyone remember the brouhaha over allowing truck to come across the border without inspections. I do believe that Rick Perry was complicit in the open borders arrangements. This policy combined with the neglect of the borders and enforcing immigration laws on the book contributed greatly to issues in the border states. No one seemed to have a problem paying under the table for gardeners, restaurant workers, agricultural workers, construction laborers, etc. Our fine citizenry reaped the benefits of cheap labor sometimes carried out in conditions not unlike slavery.

So after the bankers and finance sector have sucked the wealth out of this nation, it has suddenly become an issue. We use, abuse, and throw away people in this fine Christian nation. We've done it with the Native Americans, with blacks, with the Chinese, the Irish, the Germans, the Japanese, and any other group who was exploited for labor in this nation throughout its history. You use a people in this shameful manner, you have an obligation to them. You just don't take and take from them and dump them like garbage.

Maybe someone should inform her that the stations being closed are not exactly in the hot entry point areas.

Rather, they are located in NORThERN Texas (Lubbock, Amarillo, Dallas, San Angelo, Abilene and San Antonio), and Billings, Mont.; Twin Falls, Idaho; and Riverside, Calif.

Further, people should be informed that the personnel of the closed stations will be re-allocated to the Yuma, Tucson and Southern Texas sectors, AKA Border Sectors.
