Seems like people think trump is president because he is anti abortion.

Really. This is the reason??

Over 70% support legalized abortion.

Where the fuck is this thinking that we must return women 2nd class citizens coming from to win??

I know.

we have to win the deepest-red districts of Texas and Alabama, and somehow we can do it if only we had a candidate who wanted to take away the right to have an abortion...

Democrats have a history of concentrating on issues and discussing them at the national level, as has been done in your op. This has been one of our greatest weaknesses over the decades. That is not the way true power politics in this country works. And it would seem the DCCC comment was specifically addressing regional politics.

Please don't get me wrong, I think this whole conversation that has been started is unnecessary. If an anti-choice democrat decides to enter a primary they have every right to do so. I would not support said democrat in a primary.

a release from the DCCC. The campaign arm for Democrats in the house. A regionally thinking group.

Then again, I could be completely off about the DCCC being the ones who started this conversation.

And there is no BS when it comes to us putting to much attention at the top. Of course that is a gross generalization.

Did that cause him to win? Who knows, but the amount of support he got surely didn't help.
