What degree of treason does he have to commit for the GOP to impeach?

I dont know if one exists.

Their goal of taking away all social services and insurance planes like SS and Medicare, ending voting rights for non whites, and instituting Christianity as our official religion, supersedes patriotism, we know that.

Is there anything he can do to be impeached?

Kicking the Secret Service out into the street because they wouldnt pay his highway robbery rent rates at Trump Tower? They dont care what he does.

I say NEVER will they impeach.

Because what we know, sadly, and it is not sarcasm, is your average lower middle class republican is very worried that the Koch bros dont have enough money.

Pence can and will take SS and Medicare from us, and Medicaid, and voting rights, and women's rights, etc.

We know the one thing a middle class republican voting secretary in Kentucky making $19,000 a year cares about is making sure Wall sTreet is GIVEN her SS money and Medicare money.

THe point is his collusion with Russia is treason but their desire to achieve their agenda is stronger to them than their desire to hold him accountable for being a traitor.

NOT that their agenda which I listed is traitorous, it isnt, it is sickening but not traitorous.

5. The GOP won't impeach. If the economy keeps improving the GOP will maintain power.

It's all about the economy for most people.

The Republicans will turn on Trump next year when they see their election prospects diminish. Their need for self-preservation will outweigh their party loyalty.

Remember, it was the Republicans that brought Nixon down.

"Their goal of taking away all social services and insurance planes like SS and Medicare, ending voting rights for non whites, and instituting Christianity as our official religion, supersedes patriotism, we know that."

Todays conservatism, on its own, is not an impeachable offence. Nothing about attempting to end SS and medicare are treasonous. Those are two of the very few conservative positions I sill understand.

"Kicking the Secret Service out into the street because they wouldnt pay his highway robbery rent rates at Trump Tower? "

There is very little significance to that and impeachment. I'm actually kind of glad they wouldn't just agree to any price.

That said, it do think there are possible avenues to Treason. All of those avenues are Russia related. They must be in order to make the connection and to be able to make any argument for Treason. It is specifically defined.

In order to impeach there is going to have to be something that Republicans can't shake.

At this point I sure don't blame Republicans for not impeaching. They are holding their ground. Impeachment will take enormous amounts of clout from Republicans. Not just Trump.

What offense, if you were an elected Republican, would you come to the floor to issue articles of impeachment on?

At this point I think there is a better chance Trump walks away over being impeached. If he is impeached, I don't think treason will have anything to do with it. Republicans impeaching the leader of their party would only come about for political reasons.

Edit: I misread the first part. I'm going to leave my response without changes. I see you were clearly not calling those items treason.

Anytime I reference GOP, I always make sure to remind people what they want.

And it isnt just want, it is have now too as the courts are being packed with vile, filthy racist assholes who will change everything, we will not want to live here when they are done.

Hell, some of us wont be allowed to live here when they are done.

12. He could slit McConnell's throat on the floor of the Senate w/ CSPAN filming

and Republicans would still explain it away as his being new and unaware that murder isn't allowed.

His supporters would call it fake news.

Huckster, Jr. would say it was the greatest thing ever seen in the history of Congress.

Mike Pence would talk about how presidential Trump looks holding a knife.

Kellyanne Conway would tell us that Trump didn't commit murder because he doesn't believe murder is murder when he does it.

Fox News would tell its viewers that McConnell died from a fall.

Alex Jones would claim that aliens abducted McConnell and everything else is a government cover-up.

Breitbart would claim Hillary Clinton did it.
