A smile, a wink, fair hair. Please come CAPTION Bret (the gleaming snake) Baier!!!

Bret ("Dissemination for all Occasions&quot Baier is saying: "In a recent article in Nature, scientists have found a longterm cooling trend of .5 degree Fahrenheit per millennium so regardless of the higher temperature of between .35 to .51 degrees Fahrenheit per decade that is occuring now, the so-called experts have failed to take into account this long term cooling trend. . . . Ha! . . . And they call themselves scientists, imagine!"

That's what he actually said. My original CAPTION came from a direct quote pasted onto accurate data for what's occuring now. One needs little math to catch the joke.

Baier is comparing 1/2 degree per millennium to 1/3-1/2 degree per decade

which is 100 times less of a period.

Thus 1/3-1/2 degree over a millennium is 350 to 500 degrees!!!!!!

Thus the earth is heating up fast, .35-.51 of heating per decade "modified" with .005 (is that right?) degree of cooling.

To slightly modify the old joke: a Fox statistician is a person who drowns crossing a river with a mean depth of three feet!
