For the past two years, it's been Hillary and the Ds. Before that, it was Obama alone who got under his skin.
Now, he's viewing the Rs as opponents, so he's going to go after them. Toss in the "generals" in Afghanistan, numerous staffers and aides and you've got tRump in his ultra "me against the world" glory. He is loving it!
He has no intention to lead or legislate. He's all about poking a stick in someone's eye, safe in the knowledge that if push comes to shove, he can simply declare personal victory, quit and retire to the comfort and insulation provided by his wealth. Robert Mueller? tRump is richer than him, a lot richer, so what does it matter what Mueller says or does? Same goes for any of his media critics - he can buy them all ten times over. Congress? Their pathetic six-figure salaries don't match what he would pay his servants...if he paid them.
In the meanwhile, he's going to piss off whoever he wants, because he knows there's no consequence for a person who long ago became a joke to a large part of the world. He doesn't care what happens, he has his out: wealth.

(6,085 posts)By the time you figure in what he owes the foreign banks and the Russian oligarchs, I'll bet he's deep in the red. Not to mention that post-resignation/impeachment/25th-Amendment/whatever the reputation of the Trump brand will be in the same ballpark as Adolph's Miracle Mustache Wax.
