at least, not the type of blackmail where Trump feels in jeopardy. Trump is a fully willing participant because he's knee deep in Russian criminal money. He doesn't want the spigot of illegal money to stop.

The Kompromat they have on him is not blackmail - it's more akin to an addiction. He's so caught up playing his minor part that he doesn't realize he's being manipulated. It's not Stockholm syndrome - more they've been feeding him and stringing him along so much that despite his own belief he's in control, he's totally under the sway of the Russian scene. Addicted to their money and their way of doing business (at his lower, 2-D checkers) level.
