Ever notice how MSNBC has so many beautiful AND very intelligent women? It makes me so excited and proud for women.

(11,304 posts)Ms Miller. Stress free program and always interesting and no fighting. It's liberal talk shows for grown ups. If you haven't tuned in try it you might like it.

(30,885 posts)It's a long story. Short version is that Comcast claims that on Current (as well as a few other channels I would really like to watch), I am getting a "low signal" and may need a "booster" on my line, which they want to charge for, so it's at the bottom of my "to do" list.

(30,885 posts)...gotta come up with the $30 first. I may check out the local Fry's as their prices are often competitive with Amazon. The wild card is shipping (if it's over $25 it's free, and no sales tax).

(30,947 posts)I have Comcast and have no problem receiving Current. You must live in a remote area.

(30,885 posts)What they told me...and this may still be bogus, I don't know...is that since the signal has been split so many times (TV in every room, 7 splits total), I'm receiving a garbage signal and need a booster.
dreamnightwind
(4,775 posts)I used to get away with splitting coax cable many times. When Comcast went digital, I could no longer get away with this, I needed some different splitters that didn't filter out some frequencies. I didn't know that my old splitters did any kind of filtering, but they must ave, because the Comcast guy replaced my splitters with some of his that he said wouldn't filter, and it all works now.

(1,364 posts)Glad to see that there are some of us that refuse to watch Dead Intern Joe and put money in his pockets with ratings. Current TV is the cat's meow. Love Press and Miller. Those that mention the ad time should thank Rotten Ronnie for that. He is the one who changed the ad times through the FCC during his Administration to payoff the MSM.

(63,912 posts)came out. I don't think it's wishful thinking to guess that the Boston Globe has the goods on this guy. It's just too high stakes a story. Furthermore, I think the reason we haven't heard anything but hysterical babble from the Romney campaign is because they are desperately trying to find a plausible answer and they can't.

good show today but as usual, not enough women. However, Stephanie Cutter's quote (in her own voice) which they played at least twice was a killer. This woman is tough. She actually said the F word ("felony" . That's serious stuff...

(244 posts)I wonder if Gregory was concerned about reaching into the past when the Republicans went after the Clinton's?
Or how about reaching into the past of Obama and his birth certificate, etc.

(71,611 posts)He's heavily dependent upon the post-modernist narrative, and is dependent upon such memes, no matter the source, to posture and preen like a caricature of a pundit. With this mental codependency, he gravitates to power and influence, and is but another media marionette distracting from any genuine analytical efforts.
