2. Remember, Pence is VP because Manafort faked "plane issues" to keep Trump in Indy for dinner.

IIRC, Trump was (at the time) leaning Christie. He was in Indy for some event and planning to leave around 6pm. Manafort, as the story goes, arranged with the pilot to have "mechanical issues" with he plane - forcing Trump to either wait for morning or take a commercial flight. Manafort obviously knew Trump would eat glass before stepping onto a plane that didn't have his name plastered on the side...so stay the night it was.

That's the night he put Trump at the dinner table with Pence and, as they say, the rest is history.

not a big deal until you look back through the lens of knowing Manaforts role in all this and stack it up next to his only other "contribution" to the campaign - watering down the language in the Republican platform vis-a-vis Putin's Crimea move.

He's a ringer too. Also has obstructed justice and lied on camera to the MSM. He;s going down too. RYAN? Wouldn't count on his being clean either.
Personally, i think that the edict from Mueller yesterday for the RNC to preserve all records pertaining to the election is VERY pertinent to the direction of the campaign. I think that the entire party is in deep shit for receiving laundered money from blind LLC's set up by Russians, and then distributing to candidates coffers across the country.

To this day, I think that this is the knowledge that Diane Feinstein received in the intelligence briefing that caused he to look so stricken... the knowledge that the entire election... up and down the ballot was ratf*cked.

I prefer Trump who has potential to keep hurting Repubs politically and be slightly less effective in getting rightwing agenda passed.

Media will fawn over Pence and praise his virtues while Pence will easily deceive many more Americans about his lying hypocrisy, radical extreme positions and goals for the Christian dominion movement. Pence and his followers will be even more ruthless about winning in 2020, including promoting an unnecessary war in order to seize more power for a wartime Presidency.
