Real crash or test? Looks like a 727. I did a lot of simulation on 72's and thought I had seen most all data available.

I never heard of anything back when they were the workhorses. This may be more recent. Maybe a plane destined for the boneyard anyway. That would have been a mighty expensive test back then.

No airline name on the fuselage and no tail number visible so not being used as a commercial aircraft.
In other words not a registered aircraft.
