If you want to understand what tRump is dealing with and "Kompromat"....

I just saw a movie circa 2006 called "The Good Shepherd" with Matt Damon, Robt DeNiro and a great cast. It's the history of the of the CIA after WW2 morphing from the OSS.. The use of Kompromat by the US and Russians is VERY eye opening.. It seems the name of the game is to always get leverage over your opponent at any cost and how ever long it takes.. Everybody in the movie was trying to flip everybody else.. A very good and very educational piece...
I did not know that Kompromat is short for компрометирующий материал... compromising material
Our prez should have seen it...

But yeah it did show them using compromising info along with the Soviets. If you want a better education on the true history of the CIA I recommend David Talbot's or Philip Atlee's books.

with Putin, I don't see any resentment or reluctance to be in his presence. He is truly happy to be with Putin and his oligarchs. Smiling, grinning, shaking hands, touching, talking about "adoptions". Why? I can only come up with "money". Putin will or has put a lot of money in Trump's pockets. Trump loves money.

for example, i don't think he was told if he does/doesn't do this then we will .........................

i think it's more as you say that trump has defended on their money for years. he has nothing without their funding. they know this and he knows this. he knows it's in his personal financial interest to do what russia wants.

and he knows it would not be good if he didn't do what putin wanted.

and of course he will be happy aroudn him since he has recieved money from them. it's not a case of only being blackmailed where they had something on him and then demanded he do something.

but there are other republicans like DEvin Nunes who i think might be directly being blackmailed.
