So why the hell is this guy in politics at all?

Why does he put himself through this agony? Sure he's rich now and of course, the first thing he'd do if he were handed the reigns of the nation would be to make life more sweeter for himself and the rest of the one-percenters living La Dolce Vita on the miserable backs of everyone else.

But being President of the United States requires a lot more of the job than to just enrich the already rich. Even a Romney administration would have to discover that it'd have to actually govern the country now and then. But to get to a job that, and from what I can tell it's one that he doesn't even want to do, he has to RUN FOR OFFICE.

It's just that he's so freaking BAD AT IT.

He's a horrible campaigner, he can't communicate effectively to voters, apparently he was a lame governor and he doesn't have any of the stuff that would even make a decent Republican president. He doesn't want to open any of the books to his finances, he runs away from and distorts everything in his record and he lies about everything, even about things that it makes absolutely no sense to lie ABOUT. He's unlikeable, tone deaf, callous and inhumane.

Ok, granted, he's a rich fuck. But, c'mon, he's the LAST guy who should be put in charge of any government.

I'm not going to launch into some conspiracy laden diatribe against the guy as would people on the other side who think that Obama "hates America".

But with Romney, the writing is on the wall and ALL SIDES can see it, it's not just us. It's his own voter base as well. That's why they can't make this an election about voting FOR Romney, with most of them it's only about voting AGAINST Obama.

If anything, Mitt Romney is a freaking mystery about why he thinks he should be in politics. Has anyone ever asked him that question?

I'd love to hear the answer, but I suspect that any answer that he'd give to that question would be nothing more than a bald-faced, pants on fire whopper of a nose lengthening lie.

If Winston Churchill were living today, instead of the former Soviet Union, he'd definitely describe one Willard Mitt Romney as a walking, talking riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

deep down, Mittens knows he's not a self-made man - he's just an asshole who lives off the backs of real workers - but if he could be PRESIDENT - well, that's something his dad never achieved, right?

His job functions have already been defined by Grover Nordquist:

"... Enough digits to sign on the budget we give him.."

He'll still be living the high life and not doing a thing. Maybe he wants to buy the country for his kids' Christmas present.

Do you actually think he intends to do anything, except maybe rubber stamp sending off the poor to the glue factory. Really, he's just going to finish off what the Bush crowd started. Grover's motto to 'get the government small enough to drown it in a bathtub.'

And they said on the first day that they walked in during the transition that 'there wouldn't be anyone left to turn off the lights when they were done.'

They want civil war, the states divided up to be sold off to foreign interests. America is focused on Guns, God, Gays and Gynecology. Instead of maintaining anything.

He'll just be breezing through on his way to horseback riding.
