Finally - Talk of Tom Corbett's involvement in the Sandusky case was discussed on Hardball

Not sure who the guy was that talked about it. I was at the gym on the treadmill so I was actually reading the show (I had closed captions on). But one of the people being interviewed brought up that Tom Corbett knew about Sandusky back in 2008 and pretty much put the case on the back burner. He even mentioned the reason why - Corbett was not about to do anything that would alienate thousands of voters who are dieheard Penn State fans.

I freaked out people at the gym when I shouted 'FINALLY!'. It's hard to do a jig dance when you're walking at 4MPH with a 3.5 incline but I managed!

Was he hosting or was Philadelphia radio host Michael Smerconish guest hosting?

Yes - he KNEW in 2008. That is when the investigation started with that kid from the High School up there that kicked all of this off. As AG he chose to sit on it because of the pending campaign.

THRILLED to hear this angle is finally hitting national/MSM news. Governor Corrupt can run but he can't hide from this one.

I'll go check MSNBC in a bit for the video.

And he lied to the reporter - claimed he assigned 2 people to investigate when it was well documented that only one was assigned.

His argument is that he had *2* whole people on this?

Lemme guess - he said he "doubled the size of the investigative staff".

This buffoon is going down if there is ANY karma out there.

On edit - Did Freeh say how many people his team put out there on the insurance company's dime? I heard reference to several dozen, but didn't catch the number.

I sure hope this comes back to bite him and costs him re-election.

I think they'll hang anyone even remotely associated with this.

Corbett has all but given our state to Range Resources and few complain. But he would recalled for this if we had a recall provision in our constitution.

She said she'll investigate what the AG department knew back then and why little was done.
