OBAMA Campaign Counsel re: Mitt&BAIN---"Evidence of more direct involvement would soon emerge"

Breaking: Rmoney flown in for board meetings in 2002
by
Vote4Obamain2012

Breaking: Romney was flown in for board meetings for Bain Capital in 2002. On MSNBC. Ben LaBolt .

Will add to it.

Busted.

The Obama campaign says Romney may have committed a felony by filing false statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Ben LaBolt, Obama Re-election campaign National Press Secretary, will talk about that.

*************

On a conference call with reporters just now, however, Obama campaign counsel Bob Bauer strongly hinted that evidence of more direct involvement would soon emerge. “I would stay very much tuned on that,” he said

We have consistently built him up over the years to be a power player. But then Bush, Jr. invaded Iraq. Then Palin. Now Romney.

If Rove had any kind of 'power', why would these disasters keep coming?

hope and change are still happening, and will continue to happen,
and people like Rove one by one will be illuminated as the

racking in some more dough.

I.e., with that, Rmoney now = Bush just like McLame = Bush in 2008.

4 houses (that we know of) vs 10 houses that McLame had.

'Romney has consistently insisted that he was too busy organizing the 2002 Winter Olympics to take part in Bain business between 1999 and that event. But in the testimony, which was provided to The Huffington Post, Romney noted that he regularly traveled back to Massachusetts. "[T]here were a number of social trips and business trips that brought me back to Massachusetts, board meetings, Thanksgiving and so forth," he said.

Romney's sworn testimony was given as part of a hearing to determine whether he had sufficient residency status in Massachusetts to run for governor.'

Well....in 2000, 2001, 2002, it is possible RMoney wasn't thinking about running for public office. Unless public scrutiny is brought to bear on these guys/gals, little is likely to be known or revealed.

So RMoney decides to run for POTUS and his team didn't consider his past lies. They figure oh well these are a number of years ago and no one would notice. Well yes, we have noticed and you need to be held to account if you made false filings.

After all, if you are to be the top law enforcement official in the country, supported by the AG and the DOJ, then you cannot be guilty of crimes.

I hope this has real sea-legs. But I fear that the MSM will lose interest once there is another shiny object like Obama has eaten small children whole.

They thought left wing blogs would scream but they thought Democrats would mostly side step it out of fear of being seen as anti free enterprise. They thought Democrats would only give lip service to attacks on Romney over this and that the media would cooperate by burying it with page 12 stories

They underestimated the power of new media to bring stories into the mainstream. They were typically arrogant to do so since this is the path they trailblazed; Drudge to FOX to ABC. Now it travels Huff to MSNBC to the Daily newspapers.

if OWS never did another thing, they would still have made a
HUGE impact - my opinion - raising awareness of the income
disparity, the greed of wall street. This is a big part of why
Romney's money issues are front and center now.

EDIT to add: now it also travels from DU to Facebook to Facebook
everywhere. Think Progress, Rachel Maddow -- Links posted here --
Martin Bashir, Big Ed -- people presenting the real news -- are
showing up here and on facebook days before they get to the
other outlets.

Why?

Because they had this the whole time.

They pinged and pinged and pinged him on outsourcing. They knew what his response would be. And they knew what they're counter-response would be.

What's that game where you see people's actions several moves ahead, and lure them into traps? What's that game called again, Hater Nation?

But I fear that the average American voter is so groomed by the corporate media, so conditioned for the simple sound bite, that this scandal comes off as nit-picking and anti-free enterprise. (When in reality it is neither.)

I hope this leads to big things - but I have my doubts. Look at all the shit in W's past that never hurt him.
