Why should Cory Booker get any reward from this party at all?

Even leaving the Bain apologism aside, Booker hasn't ever actually ACHIEVED anything. All he ever did was get elected mayor of a city that always elects Democratic mayors.

He has no distinct ideas(other than the notion that Democrats should give up our dignity and kiss corporate ass).

He hasn't made his city better.

He has no unique support base.

His state isn't even in play. New Jersey is blue and pretty much always WILL be blue.

So why give this guy a major role in drafting our platform?

All he's going to do on the committee is say "we should just support what Romney would do".

There is no possible justification to give this right-wing loser a chance to present himself as the face of the Democratic future.

That's what being a "pro-business Democrat" means, folks...it means being a Republican.

'There is no possible justification to give this right-wing loser a chance to present himself as the face of the Democratic future."

This is the kick in the ass I need to change my party affiliation.

7. I hope you don't LEAVE the party...that's what the Bain apologists want.

The need is to stand and fight FOR our party against these bastards.

8. I will still vote for Obama in this election, and any Democrat that fits my values.

But I will not remain in this party. How can we stand and fight FOR our party against these bastards that are nothing more than a deadly cancer within the party? Politicians like this are destroying it. I have been dragged over to the right and center as far as I will go.

At some point there has to be a line that one will not cross.

(that's aimed at the networks, not at you, fyi).

If being from New Jersey's the issue, I suppose we should be glad the prez didn't put Chris Christie on the platform committee.

"New Jersey is blue and pretty much always WILL be blue"...

Christie is proof positive that this is no longer true.
